Red hot summer
Apparently it’s going to be a red hot summer up with 76 & 95 because there’s loads of ladybird’s about already. I do hope so because the local fire authority that I work for has decided to cut 15 operational fire engines from its fleet and based the cuts on data evidence from the last five years so could be an interesting summer. If you live in the West Mids make sure you’re house insurance is up to date!

Shook out a few from some curtains i took down at the w/end - thought they were dead but all scuttled/flew off

I reckon we will have another cold snap and also a rather wet spell in April then will be v v hot as you say.

My Dad ( Mr country bumpkin weather guru )says the same too...

He says that we always have a really hot summer after a really cold winter, as in 62-63 and 75-76, and he reckons we are in for a bit more of the same this year..

95 was a scorcher.... The VE day weekend of 95 was baking hot !!!

Took my little boy up to the swing park last week and saw a pretty big lady bird crawling around... thought it was a little early for them and expected it to be sleepy, but it was quite lively and flew off when Adam decided to try and squish it !

hey, maybe I might even get a tan this year and get promoted from Rich Tea colour to Digestive !

Red sky at night, shepherds delight, red sky in the morning means your barns on fire.

Let's hope I have my bike back by the summer. Otherwise, I'll be changing it's name by deed poll - from '2001 748R' to 'Paperweight'
