oil cooler
Because the old man asked me a question about this, here are some pictures of the cooler (from a ZX6 I think) fitted on my 620 Sport. Quality of the pictures is bad, but it may help.

Looks good Tonio. Just a quick one though, have you fitted the small diverter plate under the oil filter mount? If you haven't the oil flow won't go around the cooler..................
apologies if you have already done so, but it'd be a shame to do an install like that and not get the best from it

Hi Nelly,
the previous owner did the job, and I don't really know what you call "a diverter plate". But because the bike went out of the factory with an oil cooler, I thought he just had to change the cooler and the tubes (?).

Last track day at Brands, I think the oil temperature just stayed around 80 degrees the whole day. So I think it might work.

Sounds lik eit's in there then. If you look on a parts diagram of a 996 for example or 900 SS, available from ducati.com, take a look at the crankcase diagram and you'll see a small plate fitted under the oil filter spigot.
when you next have the filter off, look up inside the where the filter screws in and you'll see if it's there.
