Pro Twins Hugger Problem

Just tried to fit the hugger. Seems straight forward enough with just 2 screws and fitting over the original plastic chain guard. Can,t work out what I am doing wrong

Can anyone help?

Are you meant to remove the old cover?

Just another crappy fitting hugger I'm afraid.
You could drill the side (of the chainguard) and put a small nut and bolt through to bring it together.

Don't think so. As far as I can tell the original chain guard is part of the same piece that runs through the swinging arm tunnel and all the way along the swinging arm.

Is it Pro Twins as well?

Mine's a QB Carbon one and that covers the original chainguard completely. They supply a bit of velcro to keep the two together, but that went the same way as the toolkit (south!)

The hugger should fit over the chain-guard..... Demand one that fits properly.. And if thats the same ask for a refund and go elsewhere.... Try Casoli or Ducati 9. net.

It wont hurt if you trim that small amount off of the end of the std guard! Will tidy it up, and wont look amiss if or when you sell!

True, I have a Tec Moto one great fit, velcroe has never moved, nice and long as well to keep all that road crap away from the rear suspension.
