Diesel on the roads.....
Don't know if this subject has been discussed recently, but I reckon the roads in Belfast must be the worst for this in the UK. We're lucky enough to be allowed to use the bus lane's, but there're 100% saturated. What's it like in other parts of the UK?

part of the A24 had a 3 miles 'slipstream' of diesel (heading north just outside Pulborough) on Sunday afternoon, just off the white line, in the direction we were going!

Made things very hairy for a while, till we turned off for Loxwood

You want to try getting to Ducati Manchester, there's a lorry park down the road, always swimming in Derv! Have to drive past the place twice a day and have had a few moments in the car, luckily only one or two moments on the bike

There was a trail of derv and big puddles by each bus stop in the village where i live on saturday.Phoned 999 and reported it to the police.Very pleased and surprised that the council came out within 90 minutes and put some pink earth type stuff all over the spill throughout the village.Excellent response,i am firing off an e-mail in praise later.Maybe they are more aware of the problem these days.

Yes when ever you see derv on the road phone the fire or police and they will get the council out with a gritter or wash the road down.

Have any other counties or cities adopted the bus lane policy?
