Funny Swedes
Just before getting my ST4 back (just in time to catch some cherry blossoms after a nice two-up blast up north) , I went out with a group of buddies on my SS750, an HD 1200 Sportster, Monster 900, Kawalski Zephyr 400 and a super motardish 450 Husky. After the nice mountain roads a little north of Tokyo, we got on the expressway for a quick return. Second time on the bike, first time on the expressway for the Monster guy, so I showed him how to really enjoy the great torque that baby puts out. Off we went doing a number of sprints up to 185kmh as his smile grew ever wider. We promised to wait for the others at the exit and as we were talking over our little power plays the other guys finally exited. Parking at a nearby cafe for a little brekkie, I got off my SS and noticed this unrecognizable cancerous growth on the tail of the Husky. "What did you pick up?" I asked and then my focus finally came into force and it hit me....he had melted his right turn signal! The exhaust on the expressway imust be toasty enough to roast stale marshmallows! Complete loss. Swedish technology must be designed for environments hovering around zero degrees all year round!
