Another kind of Duke
Anybody have any views on the KTM Duke II and whether there are any good deals out there?

I've always liked the look of them and (if I chop in the bandit and dt125) will make more sense than my current bike porfolio.

Would mainly be used for commuting and in-town so reliability comes fairly high on the list as does ease of maintenance...

merci! Chi

Hard to tell really, their fairly new.

Few articles I've read rate it, thinking about taking 1 out for a test, to compare against the s4r.

Bracken is in London - they do test rides etc.

If you want more advice on these things one of the places you might want to look is here

I spoke to the guys at Bracken earlier this year about a Super Duke - seemed like nice enough fellas.

There is a very positive review by Kevin Ash in today's (Saturday's) Telegraph motoring section.
