S4r Slip on
Im after a slip on can for my S4r to release the sound more that anything, so after something cheapish. Saw the akrapovic one first but then fell over when I saw the price £750 for the can only looks very nice mind and titanium to but for 100 more could get the arrow full system.

The only other one I have seen is the Remus Grand prix Revolution with removeable baffle a steal at £280, then later on get the spareskack header pipes.

I know its not termis, but anyone had remus stuff before?

The baffle looks to be riveted in so I hope I can remove it and add a bolt with nyloc nut so I can remove it when I please in the future

Remus is good quality kit - they are one of the Ducati factory's standard exhaust manufacturers ( along with Termignoni ) so it should fit well.
The cans I've seen made by them have definitely looked the part.

Go with the Arrows cans. Road legal with removable baffles. If've hear it with the baffles removed and f*ck me, they are LOUD! Even with the baffles in, i.e. road legal, there still very nice.

I would felix but they are about 650 for the cans only, then need the spareshack headers or the full system for 850.

Get a slip on now and maybe the full 50mm termi system later

I know this stuff is highly personal, but IMO the rounded ends on the Arrow cans go so well with the madness of the S4R.

I thought the slip-om cans fit the stock pipe work.

Otherwise, go for the full system...you know you want to...

Yeah they are nice felix like u say look the best, Just dont have that kind of cash yet, the slip ons do fit standard pipe work but the cat restricts a lot for noise to, to spread the cost was thinking cans soon and spare shack header later about the same price as full system.

Or the remus now and a steering damper which i need to

Lee...if your on a budget mate then a marving 2 into 1 is the way to go (under £300 if you get them from germany)

To be honest mate, if your only after silencers, youll be disappointed whatever you fit as the cat will stifle most of the noise.

The termi kit I bought looks the best IMO, but are way overpriced at £1100 list and to be honest, the sil motors I have on my other bike are better quality.

(pic pre cat bin off !!)

Cheers
Nat

Thanks Nat, The remus is only £280 so go with that being more popular.

Like u say might better of with the spareshack headers at about £200 first see how loud it is on standard cans as my 748 on standard pipes was way louder with out a cat.

Termis very nice Nat but not cheap :lol :lol

Found a company at the BMF that had the Akropovic slip-on can (2 off) for about £365. They have had them sitting around with no takers. I will find their name and post it tomorrow. Managed to get a spareshack full system from the 'for sale' section here. Can't wait for them to arrive
