Crisis of confidence
my damn Ducati will give me a heart attack one of these days,
every year around this time i have a crisis of confidence (hope thats the right term)
can i afford the service ? can i afford new tyres? can i afford to keep the bike at all?.
I look at my monthly bills my credit card statements (my credit card only exists because i have the 748).
I even go as far as to write out an ad for my bike to try and sell it.
and what happens ?? I keep the damn thing for another year,

And the same thing is occuring right now !!.
I need new glasses, new contacts, a new crash helmet, a new jacket,a new fairing for the bike.
can i afford all this? I don't know how but i'll probably scrape through somehow.
And I expect i'll keep the 748 for another year again.

Bloody things got a vice like grip on me and won't let go

Q: how can you wear glasses and contacts at the same time?
think of it this way u can wear the new helmet&jacket the 748 can wear the new fairing&tyres all at the same time ! is that not value for money? welcome to the ducati millionares club. it aint cheap but sit backand drool at it and it's worth every single shiny penny! (trust me i'm a shopfitter)

You go to work and give nearly half your money to the tax man
Then you pay all your obligatory bills, pole tax, gas, electricity, water rates.
Then you feed the family.
Now that’s what’s goner give you a hart attack.
Owning your 748 is for you, it, s the rest of it that’s a pain in the ass.
Try to look at the bike in relation to all your other expenses and it might look
better value for money.

Do you drink, smoke or do expensive drugs? No?? See, just think how much you'd be wasting on that if you did and they'ed have an even bigger grip on you

Anyway, if Mr Visa is paying, why worry?? he's got more money then you'll have and can always extend his credit line until you're too old for Ducati's

Just think of all the pleasure it gives you.

Ever thought of bank robbery i have.

It would be quite nice to pay off the Barclaycard with their own money

Hope Rushjob doesn't read this post
