Best Value Euros
Where is the best place to get a good £ exchange rate for Euros.
We are going to the motherland (Italy) soon and need some Euros.

Seems much of a much-ness. I have tried ATM when I get there, vs. Post Office etc. etc. All seems to come out about similar

I always use the post office for convienience.Ten of us went to Lanzarote on a stag do in October last year. This included someone who works for Barclays in the Channel Islands, who told us that unless you are getting about £5k worth of currency the difference is at most is £20.I compared rates with my mate who went to a B de C at Gatwick and another who got his over there and on £500 of currency the difference was £2.50!Use wherever is most convienient to you

Marks and Sparks seen to be doing good rates at the moment.

March in hand over some GBP and out again with yer Euros, no messing about odering.

If you have some brown envelopes you want rid off change for Euros in the country of destination. You might get asked as you leave the UK if you are carrying large amounts of cash tho'. A quick no with a "you have just missed Mr Big with a gesture towards someone in front of you who has just passed them can up the entertainement factor especially if it's mate"
