BUYING 748 WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Hi
I crashed my Numptystrada last week and it is not going to be repaired as it is too expensive. I am thinking of replacing with a 748. Looking to spend about £5000. Is there anything that I should be on the lookout for and what are the definate walkaway from faults. Local dealer has a BP in for £4,800 with 8,000 miles but I think that is too much as there is an S in MCN for the same price. Any thoughts any one.

that one in the dealer is to much.
but then I wouldn't get a bike from a dealer anyway.
for £5000 you should be able to get something very nice. your not far off getting a R or SP for a bit les.
its nice to get a few goddess on there

You could of bought Lily's 2002 748R for not much more money than what you're thinking, Ohlins all round, q/release sprocket etc, but it's gone now
