A very dear friend called last night to say she has been diagonsed with cancer of the breast and lymph gland. She starts her treatment today and I'm still reeling with the shock. She's 40, there is no history of cancer in the family, she doesn't smoke and she has two toddlers under the age of 3. She is remarkably upbeat saying, typically of her, that now she knows what the problem is she can deal with and get on with her life. Shes asked me to click on the link attached each day to support the breast cancer charity to raise funds.
