Need help to go to Donni...
Hi all,

Could anyone give me and my bike a lift to Donnington? In this way we could share the fare. Unfortunately I can't afford to go there on my own...
I live in East Grinstead, near Gatwick.

Tonio, if you can get your bike over to us to get it loaded on Thurs nite, we will find room.

Need to load up on the Thurs tho, to make a quick gettaway on the Friday when we finish work, at about 2pm. You can squeeze in the front of the van then too, as you aint a big lad. Room here overnight if you wish, for either end of journey. Room in garden to dump trailer if needed.

We are Woking - GU22 area - can u2u full addy etc if you want? 3 miles from Ripley on the A3 (close to Jct 10 M25), or 7 miles junction 11 M25.

Hi Tonio,

I can get you in the car if you can get to Heathrow/Uxbridge, but my trailer is only a one bike one. I might be able to borrow a two bike trailer if you get stuck. I'll be leaving about midday on Friday, call me on 07748 687348 if I can help.

Cheers,

ali

Hi guys,

thanks very much Alan and Charlotte, Michael and Ali for your help. But as I can't find any way to go there (Ali leaves too early for me... I mean for my boss) I think I'll have to go there on my own.

I really appreciate your help, see you there on Friday night.

We'll be down by garage 9 (near the far end and control tower)

When you close, you should go past the airport.

A small distance past the airport is the first turn for Donington - DO NOT USE THIS ENTRANCE (it's not the paddock)

You need to continue a bit further and take a right turn towards Melborne (and I think there is another sign to Paddock Entrance?)

About half a mile down this road, you will see the paddock entrance on your right.

See you there Frenchie - You can call me if you get stuck

Hi Tonio

I'm not quite sure if you're going now or not. You say you can't afford to go on your own and then say you will. If you could still do with a lift for your bike I have a very big van I'll be collecting on Friday morning, so you could drop your bike round to my house (near Woking) any time tonight and I'll take it with me on Friday afternoon. You'd just have to cadge a lift off someone for yourself. Any help?

I can also hang around for a while, but want to try to get to Nelly before Donny, so much after 2pm and it's going to be tricky. I can pick up from a train station/heathrow if needs be.

Cheers,

Ali

I'm off to Nelly's tomorrow afternoon to pick my bike up (around 4ish) before going to Donny, do you need to get to Nelly's or can I pick something up for you? If so, maybe you can leave later and take Tonio????
