Hello again, a continuing ressurection
Hi all

I used to pop into the board every day or two after I got my ST2, I spent the first year riding whenever I could and even managed a week down the south of france. With full luggage and scotoiler fitted I was having a great time. In the first year I managed around 2.5k miles on the bike.

Then I became a dad, The time intervals between available riding time was slightly longer than the time it took the battery to lose charge. This was largely because the bike had to parked on strret with the alarm activated. This caused me to go through about 3 batteries in the subsequent 2 years, and I would be lucky if I managed a couple of hundred miles in that time.

So I have now moved, my bike has been given its own bedroom (well a garage) and I have purchased and now fitted an optimate in order to try and lengthen its lifetime. In its current state the front fairings etc have been removed, partly to allow for the fitting of the optimate and also because a neighbour knocked over my bike cracking two of the side panels and so I am now going to go at them with glue etc.

So I know have to try and reassemble the bugger, embarrassingly take it for a service (with very little miles done since the last) and then get out on it.

So this was my way of saying 'Hello Again', sorry for letting the side down by not riding and if anyone around the Cambridge area fancies giving a slightly nervous slightly 'back-to-biker' a few pointers (on riding or fairing repairs ) the they would be more than welcome.

Have fun out there,

Conor

Conner, if you are to the west of Cambridge come and hook up with the BHC massive-we meet mainly at Grafham Water at the fishing lodge. Oh yes, and welcome back.

Thanks for the 're-'welcome. I'm seriously hoping I can get out on the bike more in what remains of this years good weather, which would hopefully get me confident enough to ride through the bulk of the winter.

Monty, I'm based in Trumpington, just outside the south of Cambridge town, by junction 11 of the M11. When I get practiced enough not to be a complete embarrasment I'll make sure to come over and say hello.

Conor

I'm quite a slow rider (at least at the moent) so you won't be seeing me on cadwell in the near future. I guess in my case there is a small s and a large T in ST
