Short Donny report
It was wet!

After battling with Kev (Senna3) at Snetterton I had MW lined up in my mind as my target for this weekend (sorry Michael)
Trouble was I've never ridden at Donny before!
Only had 3 dry practice/qualifying laps before it rained. I had a bit of a splash in the puddles to finish my 10 minutes of fun and qualified 27th out of 31 after the second group had gone out onto a drying track 27th is about my normal grid slot but an improvement with more than the usual 1 or 2 "never say die's" behind me
Race 1, steady start building up to pass some of the usual mid-fielders, finished 21st. That's 19th after the Guest riders were taken out of the equation, a top 20 finish and I beat 5 others to the line, including a fine battle towards the finish with none other than Mr Winter nice one! Sorry if I looked a bit pleased as I crossed the line in front, Michael
Race 2 was more of the same, more of the same rain that is, it helps a lot knowing how to relax on a bike and let it go with the flow, except for my start Having sat right back to avoid wheelspin (was he there ) I had a wheelie off the line and before the front got down to earth the back spun up! Easing back on the throttle had the engine bogging down and all I saw was Lin barrelling past at full steam with a beauty of a start! Go Lin!!
Left me to fumble around Redgate (this time on the inside and passing most of those that passed me on the line. All I could do then was watch Mark Foskett and Kev Mooney (they're Scummers apparently!?!) ride off into the distance by a second a lap. No matter how much I caned it I couldn't keep up, especially now the "dry" line was all of 3" wide and my front wheel was starting to slide almost as much as the back
End result was much the same as in the 1st race, but with fewer fallers and poor Antoine's 620ieSport suffering from rising damp I was 22nd (20th on correction) with 6 people behind me, not justy MW (again Michael??) but Dickie for the second time :P Now you know what it's like battling with REAL tail enders sunshine
