Diving Holiday\'s
I'm looking for a long weekend style break on a liveaboard diving somewhere within 4 hours flight (Red Sea springs to mind, Turkey ... ). I'm keen to do this in the near future. A little bit of offshore fishing would be cool too.

Can anyone make some recommendations? Used any before?

In addition, I may be going home for a holiday towards the end of the year so I was thinking I might pop up to the reef (maybe Port Douglas?) for some diving and fishing as well, well why not But I was thinking I might stop over in Thailand for a week or so and do another liveaboard. Has anyone done this and if so, recommendations, pitfalls etc?

There's nothing like diving somewhere so warm that you don't need a wettie

Well I'm a big girly poof then!

I prefer diving where it's warm and you can actually see things - preferably wrecks, fish, noah's and women in bikini's. Not necessarily in that order

Oh and cocktails ... mmmm .... did I mention the sun?

Hi Tony,

Best recommendation i can give is the Bahamas bit far to go for a weekend right enough but you can always use your private jet to "Pop" over.

No seriously Stella Maris resort in the Bahamas on Long Island. It has the world's deepest drop off and some of the best visibility i have ever experienced and i have dived all over the world.

http://www.stellamarisresort.com/diving.htm

I know Jorg the owner as we are buying some land over there and will quite happily put you in touch with him.

If taking the missus and the brats they will do you a deal on renting one of the seaside cottages at awesome rates.

Regards

ScottyB
