45mm termis and eprom info....please
Just fitted some 45mm termis and an eprom chip to my 996 went out for a ride on it and what a difference it made from factory spec but i did notice a slight stutter in lower rev range is this because it will need mapping with the new chip.
How often will i have to have the bike remapped with the new chip and will it need doing now i have fitted it ????
Has anybody else found that termis are a pain in the arse to fit ???

It won't need "mapping" as such, just that the basic settings need checking and the idle CO needs adjusting.
This should be done at every service to keep everything tip top
