Knees Knocking now_ Updated
Some of you know that where I work, jobs have been threatened since the takeover in Feb.
Well, they are starting now....

3 of the senior management called in so far today, and 2 of them to be made redundant

I'm not sure when I'll be called in, prob not till tomorrow....as 'finance & property' are first in line.

Some people on hols will be notified by post, as the 'honour' in the takeover agreement, is that they are to tell us by the end of Sept.

I just cant wait now......

Perhaps they might not even tell me tomorrow - and I'll come home from hols to find a letter on the doormat.

Sorry, am not happy bunny today

Webby, you better make it somewhere decent for luncheon tomorrow instead of Wetherspoons mate

C, naffed orf

C,

Feel for you. It's been happening a lot at ours too. Not widespread, but a systematic picking off of expensive heads. Then not so subtle employment of cheap grads!

I'm hoping to last the year out, beyond that, who knows.

Just read "Who Moved My Cheese" in anticipation

Phew - big sigh of relief

got called into the boardroom 10 mins before I went home - and told I have at least another 12 months in my job
Feel sad that several colleagues are going tho - strange feeling, as am glad I'm staying but bad that I'm not going - if you understand

Can relax a bit more on hols now!

Age - see you on Sunday, whatever route is fine by us mate!
