Stonechip protector/leading edge tape - LOOK !!
Some of you may recall I was enquiring about sourcicng some transparent stone chip protector for my S4R motor and a few helpful chaps pointed me in the direction of aerospace leading edge tape (used on helicopter blades etc)...heres the thread..

http://ducatisportingclub.com/xmb/vi...1812#pid206321

At £12.30 a METRE in Demon Tweeks its a little expensive..but..in true Nattyboy fashion i've sourced a bit of a deal

Ive found a batch of the above through an aerospace supplier..its shelf life expired so cant be used for its intended purpose in aerospace...but is perfect for our needs (to protect engine casings/plastics/tanks etc).

They are 50 metre rolls, 2" wide, and sells for £70 a roll.

I can supply it for £10 a roll..

Let me know if its of interest..

Cheers
Nat

Natty,

Must have missed your earlier post. Got some on the shelf cos we also used it for protecting race car carbon wings.

Basically, it'll work a treat for your application.

Rgds, Rob
