749 03 termi exhaust question
I've got a Termi Assymetric system fitted to my bike, does anyone know if its possible to replace the pipe from the rear cylinder with a pipe the same diameter as the non-cat termi front pipe.If so,does anyone know the part no.?And when fitted will i need the fuel/air or anything else adjusted to suit?

i think thats how they create the equal tuned length with differing diameter pipes

Yes, the cat for the verticle cyl is in the muffler (on the stock muffler) and the cat for the horizontal cyl is in that pipe. That's the only reason a 1/2 system comes with a new pipe for the horiz cyl...to get rid of that cat since the other cat is eliminated with the new muffler. You are also correct about the different diameter pipes. It is for the tuning so the cylinders are balanced. Don't want to mess with that.

Why do you want to up the diameter of the rear pipe?
AFAIK there are no big bore pipes available for the assymetric.
If there was,it would'nt be assymetric,..would it??!!

It's only for cosmetic purposes, the std. pipe has that tired tarnished look and rather go through the hassle of taking it off and polishing it or getting it treated i was going to be a lazy sod and get a nice shiny pipe.Did'nt know the diameters are for 'tuning' reasons.
