749s suspention settings
The guy I bought my bike from has uped the rear spring load to accommodate a pillion. The bike still seems ok one up but is it worth going back to std?
Does anyone know/tried better suspention settings.
I'm 16 stone
Cheers
G

What's the rear spring now?

My 04 999 came as standard I think with a 6.5Kg rear spring which way too soft, JHP replaced this with a 7.5Kg spring and the bike handles a million times better now.

I believe the 05 bikes now come with a 7Kg rear spring (not sure whether this is mono or bip though)

I weight just under 14 stone, so use that as a benchmark

I would say that if it feels ok then leave it or write down the settings as they are now then put back to standard and if worse at least you have the original settings to put it back to........if you get what i mean.

As suggested I've gone back to std with notes on what it was. Rear now softer and more compliant but have needed to up rear rebound.
I'm out on it today and will give it a proper trial on some favourite roads.
Thanks for help
