Time Gentlemen Please!?!?!?!?!
Well guys & gal, how fast did this come around?

It only seems like a month ago we were all getting excited about racing at Cadwell for round 1 of Desmo Due.

Now it's almost all over... Crikey!!

So who's gunna do what at Cadders?

Obviously I would have won if I was going, but I decided to let Geoff have a crack at winning his home race (again).

Are you all ready?

Will Ali be ready? Does he have enough 'Hammertime' to get his bike finished?

Will that Ginger bloke or that Rattley fella grab 5th spot? or will Andy do em both and make it a 4th & 5th for the Big Boring crew, he's right in there y'know!!

Can Ali come home with some more silverware, now he has Rosie? (I reckon & hope - no pressure though dude )

Will me and TP irritate people with our drunken pi55taking?

Will it rain? Hope not!

Is it next season yet?

I can't wait to watch it all unfold, in the dry, in a sober-ish state.

Good luck everyone

It will rain, that's the only thing for certain.

And the ginger blokes will be taking home 4th and 5th in the final table with one of them saying "well done phil, you beat me fair n square"

Andy who?

It has gone quick hasn't it!

Glad you're not riding Dom, wouldn't want anyone to lap me.

Ali will do well, not sure about a trophy tho... cadwell is a place for the experienced ones to clear off.

and yep, I'm sure you'll irritate the hell out of everyone!

It has gone far too bloody quickly. On the one hand I wish we'd had twice the number of races, and on other I feel like I've done nothing else for 9 months.

The highs of Snet & Donny have been slammed by Brands, but that's racing for you. I hope to have more success next year, just got to keep it upright and running!

The highlights so far have been:

1) Watching Phil slam the door shut about 10 times in the first race at Cadwell

2) DumskiDue giving me the thumbs up halfway down the Revett straight

3) Getting past Neevsey and making it stick

4) Firing up my local bypass last saturday at 10,300rpm in top.

Anyway, enough rose-tinted memories for now, there's racin' to be done. Stop with a 'silverware' nonsense. I've ridden the bike for all of ten miles so a decent finish is pretty unrealistic (and a top three is a joke really), but I'll be giving it everything so expect a couple of trips to the green bits!

Cheers,

Ali

Cadwell should be the end of season party - it should be like the last day of school when you were allowed to bring games in!!!

For me, if I don't fall off, finish ahead of Andy R and perform reasonably well then I should make it up to 6th spot in the Champs - pretty good considering my crap start to the year.

In theory, I could get ahead of Nick, but if the ginger-ninja stays upright he'll secure 5th spot for sure - so Cadwell should be a bit of fun.

I was hoping to get up there and practice beforehand, but having missed TA4 there and having only ridden there twice, I'm not expecting a great show, should be interesting to see how she runs in the snow!!!!

But looking forward to it.
