Torque Settings
[font=Arial]Anyone: I am going to take out the front and back wheels and get new tyres fitted. I know that the torque setting for the rear is 83kn - what is the rating for the front pinch bolts/nuts?

Unless I'm looking in the wrong place I cannot find this info in the owners manual. Thanks for the feedback./font]Text

Often can't find useful stuff like that in the manual. I was shocked to see that the 749S used manual says I have to take it to an authroised dealer to have the chain tensioned!

This IS the Nanny State thread isn't it?

Oh .. it's not? Sorry ....

Now to add something useful to the thread - as I gatecrashed!

Richard's ST Pages where you will find lots of useful info including torque settings. This guy has done a lot of work on his bike, so many mods and stuff to watch for. I emailled him once with a question and he was very helpful. Can't remember what it was about now mind.
