Ok, I emailed Duke Demon to ask why they were selling a Carbon Airbox on eBay for £349.99 (Buy now)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ducati-748-916...cmd ZViewItem

When Casoli did a brand new one for £270

http://www.casoli.co.uk/products/casoliak.htm

Duke demon replied back to my email saying that theirs was better quality. I have the email (Duke Demon) so you CANNOT sue me.

Anyway at £120 more expensive you may guess where I bought my airbox from.

Duke Demon you are good but not that good.

I know Casoli get a bad press round here for poor delivery times but I've always found them prompt and you know the quality is going to be great.

Bradders, we had a couple of cock-ups in delivery times - longer than the 7- 14 days etc, but the stuff we have had is good.

Tip - get items delivered to work, as there is almost always someone to sign for it too

would use them again

A) want to be sure of quality
b) want to be sure its in 1 piece!! (or 4 )

I have been using casoli since it was a t.v. repair shop no problems, but then I allways go to the shop direct.

That seems to be common thread if you do a search on them on the forum.
Personal callers seem to get good service, mail order not so stellar in the perfomance department.

Agreed.
I think this is the attitude the world over. When I go to my local Indian they cook a belting curry, when I phone em for delivery it's pants.
