Anyone got any ideas how I might be able to fix it or anyway I could fix at brands?

probably damaged a taper roller bearing during your high side at Pembrey

You need the headstock tool .. apart from that should be straight forward .. the taper bearings are simps to fit .. no press or anything

Yep, got one in the tool box, will be there Thurs eve.

Bring a cold can of lager and I'll exchange it for the loan of the tool.

Hammer and a large Chisel can come in Handy for removing the inner race from the bottom yoke and a long round bar is quite useful for removing the outer race from the headstock tube.

And if you talk nicely to Tom he may let you use his tall stands that should allow you to remove the yokes from the bike

I won't be using my bike this weekend if you get stuck, but you'd need to get it there.

Maybe they just want adjusting to eliminate the free play, check that first.
