polish for plastic
Hi, can anyone recommend a good polish which is formulated for plastic. To use on Ducati farings etc. Thanks for your help and assistance.

any polish but the secret is to use your mother in law's pants to apply it.
best to put them over your head first and run around shouting "who's the daddy" at any family get together..

good luck with your marriage guidance !!!

Always used Mer (or it could be Merr) but it's too F***ing cold to go in the garage and check the spelling :P

Key thing is not so much the polish, more how you put it on and take it off. Don't go round and round in circles with the cloth, looks crap in the sunlight when the paintwork is full of swirls.

Excuse the pun, but, keep to long straight strokes going from front to back.

I use Swissol wax on the car and bike, no nasty abrasive's in this stuff, so no horrible swirls in the paint
Swissol

Used autoglym super resin (and occasionally hi gloss finish), but I now use Turtle wax 'extreme' speed wax (in a fluro green bottle)..which is every bit as good as autoglym, cheaper, and you just spray and wipe..
