My daughters ipod dont work
My girls ipod dont seem to be recognised by winxp and causing usb unrecognisable. Bollox shes upset.

But my remote control ducati moto GP bike works a treat if I can learn to handle it. Road was a bit slippy with slicks. great for donuts though

Albie,

iPods etc are automatically recognised on Macs but Wintel systems may not treat it as a drive; you might have to install a driver first. Alternatively download and install iTunes first - that might know to go straight for the usb device.

Yes thanks for that. I did install disc first and followed instructions. Just watched video demo on help page. Hmmm. Im sure it will get sussed but Im worried about the usb connector.

Have you allready got an ipod on your system? if so you have to close the user down and open a new user account in your xp.

You need to install the s/w (drivers & iTunes) and then I would suggest getting the latest version of iTunes from Apples website and also the latest iPod updater before you start to panic

Might also be another music software program set up for a non Apple player like Iriver, try an install on a new clean user account
