It was on m&m before christmas - worth a look, it might be on one of the thousand or so discovery channels now.

Or you could try www.motochallenge.com if you want some info

Lost any interest in Nick Saunders after the revelation that he was not the fastest in real terms because he was having stopovers and not including the time in the total from start to finish. Unlike other people going for the title.

Long way round is still an excellant view.

As I understood it the rules for the ride were those used by Guiness Book of until this record was dropped due to the element of danger. The clock only stopped for the flights and shipping.

On balance I think Im going to get it anyway, its got to be a better nights viewing than whats been on TV over Xmas

Its not bad viewing and Nick is barking mad and a very nice guy.

The same rules about stops etc applied to Kevin and Julia Saunders for their round the world time, so i understand Nick unofficially beat their record, but Guiness Book of Records declined any more attempts on the grounds of safety.

Long Way round is great viewing and had THE budget, but for real fun check out Mondo Enduro, and Terra Circa. Its all about about a bunch of normal lads who have done the round the world trip twice (doing the Siberian bit long before Ewan and Charlie, despite their claims to be the first).

Its all filmed by the lads themselves so is not top notch but without any disrespect to the Long Way Round, is far more of a challenge and lots more entertainment. Its also been on Sky a few years ago. Brilliant stuff, can't recommend both of them enough. JEALOUS me, no way.
