Back tyre size
Hi,

I never really got along with my 996SPS until today. She always felt weird compared to my 916 and my earlier 748... felt like the back was resisting to do what the front wanted to.

Never valued my riding skills that much so I thought it was me or that I should have a serious look at setting up the suspension that the previous owner might have messed up.

.... well this afternoon I changed my tyres and decided to give a go to some 180 at the back to have the same fitting as my track 916... and boy it feels like home again!!!

The bike is so much quicker to flick, so much more together if you see what I mean.

So I was wondering what you guys thought about it and if there was any special reason to use a 190 section at the back on the bigger bikes?

Cheers
philippe
