winter rebuild
Here we go,

The bike is now a 996sps, instead of the 853. I still have a way to go but my time is limited getting to cornwall and back all the time.

My 996 lump that I talked about last year with regards to rebuilding, is on hold now as I have other plans for that at the moment. ( Thats another project that my Father is playing with.)
So I thought if ya gonna stick another lump in it may as well be something half decent.

I had plans to powder coast the frame and swing arm but they will have to wait for another year as I am in the middle of buying a house. And time is running out.

Hope to have my bike ready for the spring.

DC.

Just me and the old man. Lifted it up as it is in the pics but minus the headlamp pod. Then when I wanted the engine out we just lifted the frame up and away.

On the rebuild we put the new engine back in the workmate after taking the old one away and then simply plonked the frame with swing arm back on top.

I can put my abba stand on it now when I am ready to lift it off and lift, leaving it ready to go back onto the floor and resting on its fork bottoms on some wood etc.

Cheers for the offer mate.
I should be fine with putting the rest if it back together. Its just getting the time between work and stuff to nip back down to cornwall to do it.
