What filters with my new termi
Done a deal with my local dealer on Termis for my 749s but he isn't supplying the ECU (fitting PC111) or air filters. Do I need the new filters and if recommended are there alternative (read cheaper) that do the same thing.
Cheers
G

Why not ask the dealer? or speak to JHP/Ducati Coventry John will be able to tell you what's best

I think the only differance between the standard filters and the ones in the Termi kit are the 'race' ones are slightly larger and are washable. The standard filters are replaced on a service.
Oddly the '05 999S comes with an assymetric Termi exhaust and CPU but no replacement filters.

I've heard the the chip changes the ignition time and the pc111 doesn't so you will need the chip, the filters are race type and I have not found any patented parts so you will have to buy ducati parts.

Ive been told that the chip is not required if PC111 fitted and that the timing does not need altering. Another thread on site at the moment seems to confirm this. Does anyone know any different.
Thanks

I think the timing only needs to be altered on some 749 models to cure the 'stalling at the lights' problem.
