you would just need to change the mounting bracket, cos one is a solid mount on the plastic tank, and the other on the metal tank is 2 bars. Otherwise should be ok to interchange tanks, as long as you take the pump with either one.

Monster tanks
Dose anyone know if the different tanks used on the 04 620 monsters plastic ones and metal ones are interchangeable?

They will interchange but the metal tank the pump fits though the top the plastic tank it bolts into the base,not the same pump.

If anyone needs a steel tank, I have one from a 2002 620 going spare.

Its red, has a few small dents but will save risking a new one.

thats why I said it was easier to take the pump that belongs to the tank with it. Tho you can swap them - its a bit of a fiddle, and not a quick job.

you will also need to move the relay attached to the battery tray to fit the right tank,plastic tank its fitted on the lefthand side,metal tank its fitted to the back.
