Its real alright.
A couple of years ago a group of lucky club members went to a 999 presentation evening.One of the designer team was present and gave us a talk about the bikes design,and very interesting it was too.
Centre stage was a clear fairinged 999.Got some pics somewhere of the evening.
Its basically a show bike made for the launch of the 999 series.

There was a set of the clear fairings from a show bike at jhp,i think they still belonged to duk.
