I had one of these a long time ago, and I didn't find it that useful to be honest.

It also messes with your head coz it says about cambers and dips and stuff to watch out for, so before you get somewhere you're already worried about the bumps and dips and cambers etc. and it can slow you down.

I'd just watch some on-bike/in-car footage of the circuits if you don't know them - than just ride and suss it out for yourself.

Everyone rides different, so a motorcycle journo's view of a race track may not be the same as yours.

The best bet is to ask the guys running at the front like Geoff Spencer, Andy Johnson, Ian Leah and myself (I'll get ridiculed for that, but hey ho)

Walk the track every night before your race - you'll learn more from a 30 min stroll, than you will reading any book.

I agree with Dom (and I'll get ridiculed for that too!).

I had a chat with a guy who's quite good about Cadwell - he told me how to ride the track and what lines to use, I put it into practice and cadwell turned out to be my best results last year. Coincidence?
