fork springs?
Hello,

Is replacing the springs in showa forks a bit job?

would you advice new seals and apart from the springs, what other bits would I need. (seal/washers etc)

I bought some Ohlins springs at the Alley Pally and would like to swap them over.

Thankyou in advance.

regards

Harris usually discount the springs at the Ally Pally show, last time I got some full price was £68 and show price was nearer £50.

As for fitting it depends on what tools you have, personally I don't find it that hard a job

Hello,

andyb thought about Ktec for buying and getting the work done. (but at a guess I am sure they are not cheap)

But got them for £60 plus postage as they did not have any on the stand.

Been reading the bible, and would like to give it ago, But still unsure as I am heading into new territory

regards

K-Tech reworked my forks with their 20SSK kit and fitted new springs for a little under £300 and rebuilt the rear Ohlins for less than £50, so they're not that expensive.
