light flywheel for 999s
I've got an 03 999s and was thinking about fitting the ducati light weight flywheel has any one tried it?
I know it improve engine respone which will be nice on the track but i suppose it will increase engine braking as well. Is there a down side when riding on the road, will stalling become a problem at tickover with less weight?
Any thoughs or experience would be helpful

Read the link but still am confussed as to whether to get the lightened flywheel as I'm getting a slipper clutch so this should remove some of the negative effects of having a lightweight flywheel(ie anti hoping) so does that then make the flywheel upgrade a worthwhile benefit?

Has anyone done both mods?? Opinions??

I have, just waiting for it to be finished.
Should rev quicker, was told could stall as there is little inertia but mine was started from cold at JHP and at tic over it was fine.
Shouldnt be as much engine breaking. Go for it.

Got one aswell.. it revs fast and nice..
Mine are only 243grams...

And it works great with the slipper...

Go for it..

U might loose some torque in the bottom area... But then again just rev it..
