Timing Belt Tensioning Tool
Hi,

Would like to know if anyone has any info on which is the best tensioning tool for home belt changes on a 916?

Just missed that Ducati one on ebay was that a good price?? I was not too sure if it was a bit dear??

Also, can anyone tell me where is the best place to source timing belts for my 916?? would prefer to use genuine parts.

Thanks in advance for any comments/advice, all gladly received.

Fraggle

I was looking at that also.
I thought it was a bit expensive for second hand.
although with a item like that if its as new people are prepared to pay nearly new prices.
would also be interested to here any suggestions with regard to alternative tensioning.
this place in Germany who supplied me a light fly wheel do a tensioning

A genuine bargain at this price, I was going to get one from my Snap On dealer, there one was way over £100.00!
I rang Dave last night to pay for mine, he's a really decent bloke, he couldn't quite believe the sudden interest in them, and I explained it was relating to the D.S.C. he's been selling them for some time now to various Ducati owners, but he's selling them as fast as he can get them in at this price!
