Biking charities to get £25,000 boost - you can help decide which...
PRESS RELEASE:

Six motorcycle charities are to share a £25,000 handout from eBike Insurance and New Law – with bikers able to vote for which gets the lion’s share of the cash.

The two companies have come together to donate £25,000 to charities helping to prevent motorcycle accidents, or helping riders after an accident. But motorcyclists are being asked to place their vote on the eBike website – www.ebikeinsurance.co.uk -- to determine how the money is split.”

eBike Insurance managing director Jaimie Hanley said: “If one charity gets 60 per cent of the votes, for instance, they will receive 60 per cent of the £25,000. Bikers have until April 30 to register their vote.”

The six charities in line for the cash boost are MAG Foundation, Riders for Health, BMF Foundation, County Air Ambulance, National Association for Bikers with a Disability, and Motorcycle Outreach.

eBike Insurance is revolutionising motorcycle insurance as the first website to enable motorcyclists to manage and adjust all aspects of their cover personally online. It offers a range of new special services, including pay-as-you-go, lay up and accelerated bonus cover.

In less than a year it has attracted more than 30,000 customers.

The New Law solicitor’s practice provides legal advice to eBike customers.

Jaimie Hanley said: “eBike is fast becoming an integral part of the motorcycle industry and as such we were keen to put something back to help motorcyclists. Also, we hope that this scheme will help to raise the profile of these charities, all of which do great work.”
