where do you put yours?
my new (to me) bike hasnt got a tax disc holder...so gonna buy one...but...where is the best place to put one on a 748? or is there a range of places to put the holder? does it still have to sit legally on the nearside to protect our wonderful traffic policemen?

On one of the bolts that holds the subframe to the main frame. You need a longer bolt, and an extra nut, but its the best place I've found.

When done right, it tucks in nicely behind the frame.

Mine all used to be on a shelf in the garage, but the 748's in under the seat since I found out how much the fine could be if the plod was having a bad day !

On the inside of the screen. Self adhesive tax disc holders are about 50p and are a struggle to get of without aplying some heat (hairdrier).
