Hotels in Italy - help please
Off to Misano in June and will be going across the Alps and stopping for a couple of nights in the Aosta area. After that we’ll drop down the the Bologna factory and try to get a nose around the Ducati factory. The weekend is sorted as that’s the Superbikes. After that we are thinking about Modena and the surrounding motorsport valley/museums. We are then sorted again as we’ll be making our way back to the Alps and the gentle bimble back up to Cherbourg.

OK, question... What do you folks do for reasonably economic, low key accommodation in Italy. The web is getting useless as a tool. Each time you try to search on city hotels the search engines kick in with all the Expedia clones.

In France we tend to like the small family run hotels and use a lot of Logis. The Logis.it site has far less coverage as I guess they are much less organised in Italy...

Any personal recommendations would be very welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Rgds, Rob

Rob,

Have you tried Need a Hotel website?

We've used this when over there to book hotels.

Mark.

We tour all over Europe on the bike and rarely bother pre booking hotels. Stop whenever you've ridden enough for the day and take a look around, you'll always find something reasonable.
