Son\'s 16th birthday - ideas please? Mini moto, go karting?
It'll be my eldest son's 16th birthday this weekend and I'd like to make it a day to remember. I know I've left it a bit late but I could put it back a week or two if timings don't work out but anybody got any recommendations on what to do or where to go.
It'll be him and a group of friends - some may be under 16 so that may be a problem on some faster sports but we'll see. Ideally, would like to invite the parents to join in aswell - nothing like a bit of on track argy bargy between parents and siblings. So far, we have:
1. Mini-moto day (everything would have to be provided but not for everyone)
2. Go Karting (Buckmore park springs to mind but I think they have restrictions on adults and children racing on the same circuit).
3. Paintballing (not everyones cup of tea so may prove difficult to get everyone to agree)
4. Quad biking - easy enough for everyone to enjoy and very enjoyable. Did this in Devon on my stag weekend along with clay pigeon shooting & paintballing.
Any other ideas are gratefully recieved but time (and cost) is of the essence so weblinks, prices, phone numbers would be really helpful.
Oh and we are based in SE London / Kent so ideally Kent / Essex area would be ideal or somewhere pretty near.
Thanks for any ideas and thoughts,
simon
