Thread of Thanks - to our Dutch hosts
I thought we could have a thread so that people can post up a short message of thanks, which either myself or someone more official can copy and paste into an email/letter and forward on to our amazing hosts from Assen.

Just thought it's a nice touch following an incredible weekend.

I need to think about my 'Thank you' as I've just landed at home, but feel free to fire away.

Brilliant idea

Huge thanks to Wil for being so welcoming on Thursday night, and again on the Friday afternoon. Also to the Dutch club members who were so helpful in answering all our questions.

Best weekend racing we have ever had

Thankyou

Big thanks for the whole weekend. Really friendly people, a well organised, spectacular event. Let's hope we can offer a return visit to to the Dutch club next year. It would be great if they could bring some of their Ducati passion to British shores. With any luck, Tim is already on the case.

And with a bit more luck we'll be invited back next year, with the track maybe also open for non racers????

Huge thanks for the opportunity to take part in what has to be the biggest and best Ducati event on the planet.

Dreams really can come true, I thank everyone who made this happen for me.

For me the slowdown lap with the marshals coming out to the edge of the track waving and applauding, must be as good as it gets for this old tart. It just can't get any better. (I raced a Ducati at Assen)

Thank you

A fantastic weekend at a brilliant circuit. Many thanks to all at the Dutch Club that made it possible, despite our limited numbers, to have the trackday sessions, our own free and timed practises, and to race right in the middle of the day on Sunday. The organisation was excellent, the communication to riders after incidents was very clear, the marshals (and brolly girls) very friendly, and the way the circuit kept things on time all weekend a lesson to uk organisers.

Many, many thanks. Hope to see you next year.

Ali

This was an amazing weekend.

I have been racing for almost 10 years and have raced and won at the highest level in England, but nothing has come close to this event.

This was by far the best race weekend EVER!!!!

Everything was so organised, the people so nice, the facilities so good and the track - the best on Earth?

I was lucky enough to win the Sporting Club race, and the whole weekend was very emotional for me. High's and low's (I crashed on Friday). I will never forget this weekend, and I can tell my grand-children that I won at Assen.

Words cannot describe what a special event this was - even without me winning the race.

Thank you all so much for your hospitality and invitation in the first instance.

We all want to come back, but I think our group will be much bigger in 2007.

I love Assen and the Ducati Club Nederland
