Great sunday Ride
Getting the bike ready on friday night for a ride on sunday I found a noisy front wheel brg so after a few phone calls on sat morning I picked up 2 new brgs also new rear pads and new sprockets etc. after a late night putting it back together I woke up early on Sunday morning to be greated with a beautiful sunny day

I left home at 8:45 and went to meet the rest of them at Exeter.

The ride was with 52 other bikes going from Exeter to Barnstable Via Tiverton,Dunster, Minehead,Porlock and Ilfracombe.

We split up into 5 groups depending on abilities departing in 15min intervals slowest leaving first.

I lead the last group to leave and we had a great run to minehead with Only Jewell keeping up (he's finaly getting it) we all got to mine head safe and sound. At this point Jewell noticed his frame had cracked on the rear damper !

Then after giving each group 10 min head starts we headed off on the final leg heading to the Pub for A steak

Jewell kept a good pace yet again but did not keep up this time but that must have been down to the Bumpy road and the cracked frame.

Anyway we had no crashes it seems that everyone rode their own pace

I got home at 6pm Nackered but well happy and still in love with the 996

Went past there a few nights ago and Emm pointed it out yeah. Tis indeed a bit of a treck mate. Will be looking for a little 600/750 Monnie to ease the pain fairly soon.

It can double as a bike for her to play on once she gets her full license.

down to the bumpy road which was chucking me out of the seat....which didn't help my frame.....plus the road was dangerous as fook for speeding....so i went at my own pace with andrew.
