Altering oil lines
I've been toying with the idea of re-routing the oil lines on my monster to run both lines up the left of the front cylinder leaving the cambelt side unclutterd.
I've already been in touch with a couple of the well known companies, some didn't bother replying and one didn't seem to understand what I wanted despite me sending half a dozen pics and detailed descriptions.
However, I've just noticed that the multistrada has exactly the arrangement I'm looking for with both lines routed under the front cylinder and up to the cooler on the left side.
Do you think its feasible to get a multi line and have it altered?,(it'll need to be shorter at the top anyway) rather than making a bespoke one. I've no idea how much this'll cost either,I'm in no hurry as this'll get done over next winter with all the other mods I have on my list.
Any other considerations I need to take account of?
