How long for cambelt change?
I was under the impression that the cambelts should be changed every 2 years or 6000 miles!

Just been through the haynes manual which states for a 95/96 ss cambelts should be changed at 18500 miles???

also it says change things like the fuel filter at 6200 miles but for a 91-93 model this should be done at 3000 miles!

so is there a difference in the fuel filters and cambelts or has haynes got it totally wrong??

If haynes ar wrong where can I get a correct schedule from

usual rule is belts every 2 years or 12,000 miles whichever comes first. Filters every 6000/annually is the norm.

I do our oil filters & change oil every 3000 for all our road bikes - more often for the race bikes tho
