MCN Visor Article
Anybody read the article on page 42 regarding visors?

3 penalty points and a fine for wearing a black or iridium visor!

Makes y'sick dunnit.
On my way into work on Monday I saw two bike cops on the M60. One had a plain visor and one had full dark visor. I did contemplate chasing after him and making a citizens arrest - but with Termi's on I thought better of it.
Before now I have seen bike cops riding in shirt sleeves - I kid you not.

I thought you could wear any visor, but when dusk/streetlights came you had to have a clear visor to change over to.

The only thing the law states is a safety helmet, so riding in you underwear is at your own discretion.

Made an enquiry today and in West Yorks the offence of wearing a dark visor is still listed as £30 FPT and no points. Let's hope that is still the case!
