Talking Noise levels on race days Castle Combe
Having failed the noise test administered by Dads Army at CC on Wednesday with my normal end can, whats the crack for the race weekend.
For the trackday "Captain Mainwaring" attempted to enter the tailpipe without any foreplay with his noise meter. The ACU book says measured 1m away i think.
Any ideas,suggestions.

Don't worry about it.

New Era want you on track, plus you won't have to rev it half as hard as you did on Wednesday.

Yep should be full ACU noise limit allowed for the Race day, Castle Combe is like several other circuits where they are allowed only so many Noisey days a year, I think they get 3 of these days for bike meetings.
And I'm sure the Superbikes are going to make full use of it.

Griff, for trackdays it is 500mm from the can, that's what the twig on the end of the meter was for.

In theory if it was ok at CP and BH you should be ok, but both those meets were in conditions which would have helped reduce the noise - eg relatively humid. I reckon the only humid place this weekend will be inside leathers......
