Spaghetti collectors
Hey there,

I'm looking for pictures, close ups, from different brands of exhaust systems.
The reason why I ask is that I have 50 mm Skorpion pipes (= Akrapovics) @ home, but they don't fit to the standard collector. But I have now a full system available, so spaghetti collector and exhaust cans, and those fit. So it depends on how the curve is below if they fit or not on the 888. I have tried ferracci collectors, and that isn't good (the full exhaust system from ferracci is also for sale if anyone is interested), but I would like to see if there are other brands that will suite.

Thanks
Stefaan

U2U Jasper. He had some made and should have plenty of pictures of at least two systems.

The spaghetti systems for 2-valvers seem to appear much more regularly on e-Bay and some of the german tuners sites. They also appear to be more reasonably priced than the silly money people are paying for sil motor and termi systems for the 888. I'm just wondering whether getting a set of spaghettis for an SS then getting some 4 valve headers welded on would do the job for a T8...seems to be the same diameter pipework and a bit of extra bending and welding seems easier than making it from scratch ???

Then again ST4 systems work just as well on T8's as more fancy stuff...or so I read on the moto-one site.

In a couple of weeks I'll let you know how well the ST4 system works. Its down the shop being doctored to fit into the swing arm. The rear header just contacts the swing arm at the rear of the header. I'm getting the ends cut off standard ST4 mufflers and welded on to upswept "Terggies"

A word on cams. I have it on good authority that ST4 cams are go for 7-10 hp increase with more torque to boot. They are cheaper the "G" cams and much more user friendly if your going to ride on the road. You need to find a dude with a good idea about lobe centers, to dial them in.
