Tank Range
Hi
Can anyone give me an idea of fuel tank range on a '93 888 Strada. I'm off to Germany on it in a couple of weeks and I'm not sure if my low fuel indicator works either. Difficult to be accurate as there are so many variables, but an idea would be useful

Cheers
Andy

Well I figure my 888 engined 851 is good for 150 miles on a tankfull so fill up at that point , Don't know about the 888 but the low fuel light on the 851 tends to come on at any time it feels like but usually around 80 miles Jools will have a better idea I,m sure .

My 175 T will do just shy of 400 miles on a tank if that helps

I top up my 851 at about 150 miles too, but there is usually still some sloshing about in the bottom of the tank before the refill ( thinks....well I don't suppose it's going to be sloshing about at the top of the tank is it?.....dohhhh )

However, she handles so much better with only half a tankfull.

Yep - my SP2 light comes on at about 100 - 120 miles, and it lasts at least 25 more

The red light on my '93 888 Strada comes on between 140 & 145 miles and is pretty consistant no matter what sort of riding I do.
I suspect mine is running a bit rich on the idle/low revs circuit as it gets a bit rough when the temperature gets hot.
