Race DD bike elsewhere ?
Anyone up for some other outings for their dd bike ?

How about Plum Pudding, a hillclimb, a sprint, a flat track race (lol), a minitwin race, a thunderbike race ? ?

Quite fancy a cheap hill climb or sprint somewhere, anyone else ? Cost for the hillclimb is on offer of £30 for the day !

I for one fancy having a go in Minitwins, I reckon the 583 won't be shown up too badly if the circuit suits - Mallory or Pembury for instance?

You'd be mistaken

You'll get mullered. You want at least an 800 to compete with SV's - good ones that is!

Any racing is fun though

...once you're on the track.

You might stand a bit of a chance on a 620 at Pembrey or Cadwell but, it would be small. Just look at the lap times. An 800 is a different ballgame altogether though

You'd get mullered by those Svs with decent riders aboard, and you won't get on the podium, but it't still be good fun I reckon!

Oh yeah, it will be good fun.

I think I'd be a good 3-4 seconds off a good SV at Pembrey.

I'm 10s slower at Cadwell.

I do like Pembrey though and thought it would be a great DD track - so sorry you'll probably never race there with DD now.

Sorry.

But you don't need either DD (officially) or New Era. Just enter on the DD bike with NG. Or if you're feeling brave with Bemsee under the auspices of Thunderbike this month. Either way - few clubs would turn down the chance of extra entries in classes not heavily populated.
