A desperate plea for some local help guys, need to get a car going asap...
Help.............
A desperate plea to anyone local to me who is good at sorting out old cars.
I am trying to get an old 1934 ford V8 up and running after standing for a few years.
It's needed for a wedding before the end of the month, so times getting short now.

I've got the car back together etc, but cant get it to fire up. fuel pump is ok, carb's got fuel etc and is free from blockages, but no spark.
Not sure if the distrib low voltage curcuit is wired up wrong or something.

If there is anyone local to me who can spare a couple of hours this week one evening or similar to help me out (paid of corse, in cash wonga) and get this beast running I would be very grateful. tea, and other drinkies supplied of corse.

email me or PM me asap if possible.

Cheers

before anyone ask, yes I have checked both sets of points in the distrib, and I've fitted 8 new leads and coil lead, and a new distrib.

It's doing my head in now.
